Welcome Back Hornets!
Mission Statement
As a school counselor, my mission is to satisfy the needs of all students. I will not only support the students through their hardships or problems, that arise in their life, but I will also support the students through their successes in life. I will not turn my back on a student. I will advocate for every student while also stressing the importance of self-advocacy. As a school counselor I am obligated to build a rapport with each individual student and it is also important for me to build a rapport with the parents, staff members and stakeholders of the community. My dedication and loyalty belongs to the students and as a school counselor everything I do will be to ensure the success of all students here at Quitman County.
Philosophy Statement
As a school counselor, my philosophy is too advocate for every student that is afraid to speak up. I will be their backbone when they have no one else. I will provide the resources the students will need to be successful in every way possible. It is important to me to establish a relationship with staff, teachers, parents, the community and students to express common ground. With the support from the parents, teachers, staff, and community there will be endless possibilities for the students of Quitman County!
